Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
The Promoter of this competition is The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria Limited (ABN 66 006 728 785), trading as Melbourne Royal, located at Melbourne Showgrounds, Epsom Road, Ascot Vale VIC 3032.

2. Eligibility
• Entry is open to residents of Victoria (Australia) only; who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entering the Competition; and are not an employee, contractor, board member or committee member (or a member of the immediate family of such an individual) of the Promoter or an entity associated with conducting the Competition; and must be available to accept the “Prize” in its entirety. If the drawn Entrant is unable to accept the Prize they will be considered ineligible & the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety, and a new eligible entrant will be drawn.

3. Competition Period
The competition opens at 9:00am AEST on Sunday 24 August 2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 31 August 2025. Entries received outside this time will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter:
a. Purchase a general admission ticket to the 2025 Melbourne Royal Show;
b. Like the competition post on Facebook or Instagram;
c. Follow @melbourneroyalshow on the platform they are entering; and
d. Tag one friend or family member in the comments of the competition post.
• One comment tagging a person counts as one (1) entry.
• Entrants can only enter once on either Facebook or Instagram for a chance to win, provided the entry meets the entry criteria.

5. Prizes
• Total prize pool: Ten (10) LEGO prize packs (RRP $569.95 each).
• Instagram: Five (5) winners, each receives one (1) LEGO prize pack.
• Facebook: Five (5) winners, each receives one (1) LEGO prize pack.
• LEGO prize packs have been supplied by LEGO Australia in support of the LEGO Playland – Farm to City activation at the 2025 Melbourne Royal Show.
• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

6. Winner Selection & Notification
• Winners will be chosen at random from eligible Entries.
• The draw will take place on Tuesday 2 September 2025 at Melbourne Showgrounds.
• Winners will be announced via the original competition post and contacted directly by private message from the official @melbourneroyalshow Instagram or Facebook page.
• Winners must respond within five (5) business days and provide proof of identity to claim their prize. If there are unclaimed prizes, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

7. General Conditions
• This competition is operated solely by the Promoter. LEGO Australia is not a promoter of this competition, but has provided prize packs in support of the LEGO Playland – Farm to City activation.
• This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.
• Entrants release Meta, Facebook, Instagram, LEGO Australia, and the Promoter from any liability arising in connection with this competition.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected Entries.
• The Promoter reserves the right to verify Entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
• By entering, Entrants agree that their name and/or entry may be published by the Promoter for promotional purposes, without notification or compensation.

8. Privacy
Entrant details are collected by the Promoter solely for the purposes of conducting this competition. The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy (available at melbourneroyal.com.au).

By participating in the competition (including submitting an entry), a person is taken to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by the full Competition Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
